Ryan Little was born in El Paso, Texas and spent most of his life in the area with a few formative years across the state line in Chaparral, New Mexico. Upon graduating from Parkland High School in 1995, Mr. Little attended Texas Tech University where he received a degree in mechanical engineering graduating Cum Laude in 2000.
Mr. Little went on to attend Texas Tech School of Law graduating in 2003. After graduation, he joined a litigation firm, Hicks & Lucky, P.C., where he primarily practiced in areas of commercial law, medical malpractice defense and personal injury defense. This included premises liability, car accidents, and trucking and transportation-related claims.
In 2004, Mr. Little was licensed in New Mexico and shortly thereafter was admitted to practice in Federal Courts for the Western District of Texas and New Mexico. These admissions included handling creditor claims and adversary proceedings in bankruptcy in both jurisdictions.
In 2005, Mr. Little left Hicks & Lucky to join the Law Office of David Pierce, now Pierce & Little, as its first associate immediately after opening. In joining the firm, Mr. Little's practice areas broadened to include real estate transactions, construction litigation, corporate and partnership disputes, secured transactions, UCC claims, defense of TWC wage claims and DTPA/fraud cases along with defense of minor criminal offenses, family law, will contests and probate estate litigation. Mr. Little also remains heavily involved in personal injury defense and contract disputes.
